Lynn Domina: Year of Water

Jan 23, 2018 | Bubbler, Features

Much like Venice, half of Lynn Domina’s hometown of Marquette, on Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, consists of water–chiefly, Lake Superior, which is the largest body of freshwater in the world. First came French missionaries in the early 17th Century, then came the fur trappers, then came the geologists who found the iron deposits, then came the poets. We’re so happy to feature Lynn in our new Winter 2018 issue of Free State Review.

Lynn Domina is the author of two collections of poetry, Corporal Works and Framed in Silence. A Master of Divinity, she also edited a collection of essays, Poets on the Psalms.
