Our publisher Galileo Press has opened its reading period for book submissions. Selected authors will receive a standard book contract. Most press runs are 400 copies. Note, manuscripts need not be press ready, but please have them complete enough for us to give you a fair read. We also would appreciate a few words in the tradition of an artist statement to help us learn your personally coded metaphors. We love you but we still need coaching in how to love you better. Current authors include Matthew Graham, Julia Wendell, and Mick Fedullo. Previous authors include David Fenza, Sarah Gorham, John Dranow, Joe Bolton, and others. We’ve done plays, memoirs, novels and novellas, children’s books, and collections of poetry. All styles and genres are welcome, but we hope you lean in some way towards the theory that Earth is not the center of the universe. Writing about death and stuff is OK. Try to make it real without being too literal. Bonus points for jostling our expectations.
